FREQUENCY ADVERBS
Adverbs of frequency help you to give information about when you do an action. They have a position into the sentence. So please study carefully the rules:
AFFIRMATIVE SENTENCES
I ALWAYS get up at 7.30
She USUALLY has a shower in the morning.
BUT:
I'm ALWAYS late.
She's USUALLY happy.
Frequency adverbs ALWAYS go between the subject and the verb. BUT AFTER THE VERB TO BE.
NEGATIVE SENTENCES
I don't USUALLY go out.
She doesn't ALWAYS go to the beach.
BUT:
I'm not ALWAYS late.
She's USUALLY at home at weekends.
INTERROGATIVE SENTENCES
Do you OFTEN go to the beach on Sunday?
Does she USUALLY buy here?
BUT:
Are you ALWAYS late?
Is she SOMETIMES happy?
Go to page 44 and then to page 108 and you will find information about the FREQUENCY ADVERBS
REMEMBER:
HOW OFTEN DO YOU PLAY TENNIS?
